Binx

2006 - 2022

In loving memory of our baby boy, Binx.

All pets are special, but sometimes one comes along that touches you deeper than you thought possible, and that was Binx. He was the best dog I could have ever asked for, and he gave me so many years of unconditional love. They were the best years of my life really. There will never be another dog as special as he was to us.

Binx came into my life when I was 18 years old, and he was just six weeks. I'll never forget the moment we locked eyes for the first time. I knew then we were meant to be together. We were doggie-human soulmates. A tiny puppy that could fit entirely into the palm of my hand grew up to be an amazingly loving little guy and so friendly and loyal. Everyone that met him fell in love with him. All of our 15 years and 8 months together I heard from people, "I'm not a little dog person(or a Chihuahua person), but I would take this little guy home with me right now." Binx was an angel in the form of a tiny 5lb dog. He never wanted to play with toys; he just wanted a warm blanket and his people(momma and daddy). He wanted us to "get him" with our hands, and he loved that. He also loved when his daddy would gently tug his whiskers to initiate play time. I couldn't take a shower without him being in the bathroom with me too. He would constantly poke his head in the shower curtain to watch me, and many times I would turn around to find that he had gotten in with me. He would stand there covered in soap just wagging his tail. He loved his own bath time and being blow dried. Sprinting around the house afterwards because we would tell him he was "so pretty and clean" was always his thing. He loved car rides and going on adventures, french fries, meeting new people and showering them with kisses, sleeping between his momma and daddy at night, cooking together in the kitchen, and sunbathing. He was a big ham for a little dog, and he loved the spotlight. He loved love. He loved us. He will forever be one of the greatest loves of our lives.

I'm so grateful for the time we got together, my boo bear. My munchkin. My tater tot. Rest easy in peace now. You'll forever be with your momma and daddy wherever we go. I pray everyday that there is a heaven and that you'll be there. Please be there when I get there, my love. I love you, sweetheart.
